Assault Survivor Kits®

Through the Norman Rape Crisis Center, this project provides survivors of rape and other violent assault with a new sweat suit, flip flops and a grooming kit so that survivors may leave the center with dignity.

Bears for Children

Assistance League of Norman works with ten local service agencies to provide cuddly bears to children in crisis situations, ranging from placement in foster care to auto accidents and house fires.

Care Kits

Grooming kits are provided to women and children residing in the Norman Women's Shelter. Cleaning kits and groceries are provided to families who leave the shelter to begin a new life apart from an abusive spouse. Kits are also provided to Independent Living Students in the Norman Public Schools who are enrolled in the program and who live on their own while completing high school.

May Fair Arts Festival

This three-day arts festival is held the first weekend in May. Artists, craftpersons, entertainers, and food vendors provide visual and culinary delights for our visitors.

Operation School Bell®

Each school year, Assistance League of Norman provides a new coat, new shoes, pants, shirts, socks, underwear, a grooming kit and a new book to more than 1200 children from the Norman and Little Axe school systems. Children are referred to Operation School Bell by their school counselors.

Seniors R&R

One afternoon each month, Assistance League of Norman members play Bingo and provide snacks and prizes to clients of Full Circle Adult Day Center.
